Revfire Baseball Package
03835Description
The case can hold up to 3 RevFire baseballs. RevFire balls are official size and weight leather collegiate style balls with a yarn wound core typical of regulation balls. The RevFire monitor displays speed in MPH and spin in Revolutions Per Second (RPS) and can be used with RevFire baseballs and softballs. The AA batteries will provide many hours of use and may require replacement once a season when the low battery indicator appears. RevFire balls are not for hitting or game play. Recommended for pitchers age 14 and up. Measures 12 x 8 x 4. Weighs 2.4 lbs.
What to expect
Faster spin produces more curve, sink, or movement on a fastball. Strong breaking balls spin more than 35 RPS (Revolutions Per Second). Before using the RevFire, a typical high school baseball pitcher will throw a breaking ball somewhere between 23 and 35 RPS, with the top 15% able to throw over 33 RPS. In college, before using the RevFire, most pitchers throw a breaking ball somewhere between 32 and 42 RPS. With the challenge and awareness provided by the RevFire, pitchers make significant gains in their spin rates.
Includes the following
- Carrying case with handle
- RevFire monitor with lanyard
- 2 RevFire baseballs
- 2 AA monitor batteries

Training Advantages
- Pitchers respond well to accurate, objective, and instant feedback for more effective training. With RevFire feedback and greater awareness they latch on to effective release mechanics more quickly and develop better breaking ball pitches in fewer tosses.
- Coaches can evaluate pitching ability and technique with hard numbers, gain new insight into training methods, and identify pitchers whose release mechanics falter as they tire. The RevFire also adds a powerful new dimension to pitching prospect evaluation.
